With our strategy upgrade Momentum, we are further developing the organizational setup and operating model within ICT Risk & Resilience Management with a forward-looking perspective. Our goal is to anchor regulatory requirements, enterprise-wide steering and effective governance in a clear and high-performing target operating model.
As Department Head of Enablement & Awareness, you will take on a key leadership role in building and further developing the bank-wide awareness and enablement program for ICT risks, information security and digital operational resilience.

Your tasks
- You and the team you lead will further develop a bank-wide, target-group-specific awareness and enablement program for ICT risks, information security and digital operational resilience
- You will steer the design, prioritization and implementation of awareness measures for different target groups across the bank both in Germany and abroad
- You will establish formats to communicate regulatory and internal requirements and ensure that relevant content is conveyed to the organization in a clear, effective and sustainable way
- You will work closely with relevant specialist areas, derive communication and awareness needs from risks, incidents, findings and changes to the framework, and continuously enhance the program
- You are responsible for the phishing simulation tool and its further development
- You will support relevant subsidiaries in developing their awareness programmes
- You will prepare the results and progress of your department for management and relevant governance functions in a target-group-appropriate manner in both German and English
- You will assume both professional and disciplinary leadership of the department and ensure effective management of tasks, resources and priorities.
- You will foster an open feedback, learning and performance culture and support the personal and professional development of your employees.
- You will represent the department in relevant committees and decision-making forums and ensure effective collaboration with key interfaces.
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, communication sciences, education or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in awareness, enablement, communication, training or change in the context of ICT risks, information security or regulatory requirements
- You already have leadership experience and know how to develop teams, engage different stakeholders and effectively steer cross-functional initiatives
- You are able to prepare complex professional and regulatory content for different target groups and translate it into clear training and communication formats
- Communicating and documenting work results in German and English comes naturally to you – you are able to communicate fluently and with confidence in both languages
- You work in a structured manner, drive topics proactively and impress with strong communication, facilitation and execution skills
- Ideally, you have experience in the banking environment as well as a sound understanding of governance, information security, DORA or related regulatory requirements
- You are characterized by flexibility, strong team spirit and a confident presence in a dynamic environment

The company
Group ICT Risk & Resilience Management (GRM-ICT RRM) is responsible, within the 2nd Line of Defence, for steering and further developing the bank-wide ICT risk management framework and digital operational resilience. The function sets the framework for dealing with ICT, information security and cyber risks and supports the sustainable implementation of regulatory requirements, in particular in the context of DORA.
ICT Enablement & Compliance makes a significant contribution by translating regulatory and business requirements into effective awareness, advisory, controls and third party risk management processes. In this way, risk-oriented and compliant behaviour is strengthened across the bank, responsibilities are clearly embedded, and the organisation is effectively supported in sustainably implementing requirements.
