Your tasks
Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications with a strong focus on cloud-native infrastructures and solutions.
Developing user-friendly front-end interfaces and creating intuitive data visualizations using modern frameworks, such as React.
Implementing and integrating AI methodologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), into applications/workflows to optimize business processes and developing advanced solutions, including custom AI agents in the future.
Deploying and managing applications in cloud platforms (preferably Azure or GCP) with a robust emphasis on automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborating with stakeholders, to ensure technical solutions meet business and compliance requirements; actively refining applications to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.
Building and automating scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration across all development stages.
Taking initiative and demonstrating ownership by independently driving product innovations and enhancements.
Your profile
- Proven experience in developing applications, ideally within a financial or industrial environment.
- Extensive programming knowledge, particularly in Python or TypeScript.
- Strong experience with development and deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven expertise in utilizing cloud platforms and developing cloud- native applications (preferably Azure or GCP).
- Practical experience in applying generative AI methodologies (e.g., Large Language Models) to real-world business processes, with a focus on developing future solutions like AI-driven agents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills that demonstrate creative and strategic thinking to deliver effective results.
- Solid front-end programming experience, preferably with React or similar frameworks, would be a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Open to work in international teams.

As part of our strategy, Commerzbank is expanding its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us on this journey as Full Stack Engineer in our Group Audit team.
Group Audit of Commerzbank Group performs audit and advisory services as Internal Audit function on behalf of the Board of Managing Directors independently, objectively, and risk-oriented. The audit function supports the bank in achieving its corporate goals by systematically and purposefully assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, controls, and management and monitoring processes, and by helping to improve them in a forward-looking manner. The scope of audits includes all activities of the bank, whether they have been outsourced or not. The basis of the audits are legal and regulatory requirements as well as corporate strategy. Group Audit independently conducts data evaluations and IT-supported analyses to derive audit results.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications to support auditing processes and meet business requirements. Combining cloud-native technologies, programming expertise, and AI methodologies, you will automate workflows and create user-friendly tools that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Collaborating closely with auditors and agile team members, you will build and refine products to address professional inquiries, streamline processes, and deliver meaningful insights. You will be responsible for ensuring stable operations, adapting applications to changing requirements, and maintaining high-quality standards within the team.
This position requires strong programming skills, a good understanding of cloud platforms, and the ability to translate complex concepts into innovative and user-centric solutions.
