Welcome to the team: Senior Unified Communications Engineer (m/f/diverse)

Your tasks
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex enterprise Video & Multimedia solutions, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), video conferencing systems, and multimedia infrastructure in meeting rooms, event spaces, and special environments.
- Operating, supporting, and further develop enterprise video solutions, including Teams Rooms devices, video endpoints (e.g. Poly / HP), device management platforms, and room resource integrations.
- Designing and implementing complex video and multimedia configurations, taking into account dependencies to Teams, network, security, and identity components.
- Acting as L3 escalation point for complex incidents and problems related to video conferencing, multimedia systems, and hybrid meeting experiences.
- Participating in architecture reviews and strategic development, contributing to the evolution of enterprise video, event, and collaboration services.
- Supporting large‑scale events and special use cases, such as Townhalls, executive events, and high‑availability meeting environments.
- PowerShell scripting both creation and execution
- Providing technical mentoring and knowledge sharing for L2 engineers and service teams in the Video & Multimedia domain.
- Planning, testing, and accepting new video products, features, and platform changes, including pilots, rollouts, and lifecycle management.
- Ensuring stable operations and service quality, including release management, change planning, and operational readiness.
- Cooperating closely with the Product Owner, Service Delivery, and 2nd level support, acting as a technical contact point for the Video & Multimedia service.
Voice & Unified Communication (approx. 30%)
- Contributing to Enterprise Voice and Unified Communication topics, including Teams Phone System, SBCs (Ribbon / Audiocodes), UC gateways, and voice‑related dependencies.
- Support troubleshooting and configuration of voice components where they interact with video, meeting rooms, or collaboration scenarios.
- Participating in cross‑team activities with the Voice team to ensure aligned architectures, compliance, and operational processes.
Governance & Compliance
- Implementing and maintaining architecture, security, and compliance requirements according to Commerzbank standards.
- Ensuring continuous alignment with regulatory, security, and operational requirements, proactively identifying changes and improvement needs.
Documenting solutions, decisions, and operational procedures to support sustainable service operations
Your profile
- In-depth specialist knowledge in the areas of Teams Phone System, Teams Devices, SBC (Ribbon / Audiocodes), UC Gateways and Voice Recording (ASC / NICE)
- Emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 Services such asTeams, OneDrive, and Sharepoint Online with integration of Enterprise Voice
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and some level of experience with network infrastructure/topolog
- Experience with ticket systems such as HPESM and / or ServiceNow
- Professional experience in the agile and ITIL environment
