Your tasks
- Deputizing Technical Product Manager - technical leadership of Exotic Equity Derivatives support
- Developing best practices for a successful support team
- Challenging old, suboptimal support processes. Replacing them with up to date and efficient ones.
- Developing understanding of the business processes.
- Ensuring collaboration between different IT teams involved in provision of the systems to the internal customers
- Stakeholder management (customers, infrastructure providers, vendors, etc), incl. communication with senior management and escalation point for customers.
- Employee skill development, mentorship and succession planning.
- Supporting business users in resolving queries about the system, raising and managing issues as appropriate.
- Incident management.
- Pro-active problem solving / root cause analysis.
- Change management tasks of Application Operations.
- Release management tasks of Application Operations (incl. post release testing).
- Keeping up-to-date documentation for procedures, solutions and general KT’s.
- Back-up and recovery management.
Your profile
- Proficient in complex application architecture and infrastructure and underlying technologies, e.g. Databases (SQL-Server),Operating Systems (Windows),Powershell scripting.
- Experience working with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Grafana.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Proficiency in IT Security.
- Proficient in Business Continuity Requirements.
- Ability to structure and coordinate complex processes and workflows.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good organiser with good documentation skills with experiences in knowledge sharing tools (Jira, Confluence, WIKI, SharePoint, etc.).
- Structured and independent working style, also under pressure.

As part of the Commerzbank Delivery Organisation, the cluster “Securities and derivatives trading platforms” is responsible for the design, delivery and operation of Commerzbank’s primary and secondary trading business in rates, credit and equity products. As such we form a team of 160+ people working from 4 locations in different countries. Currently we cover almost 80 IT systems.
You will be responsible for the support of the Exotic Equities-Derivatives application portfolios.
