Your tasks
- Analyze and document business requirements in accounts, payments, and core banking processes, collaborating closely with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Leverage expertise in core banking systems to assess, document, and optimize features related to account and payment management.
- Work on optimizing account lifecycle processes such as account setup, servicing, transactions, and closure, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data using SQL and other tools to validate metrics, troubleshoot, and produce actionable outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-locational IT and development teams to enhance core banking functionalities and ensure seamless integration.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Reviews, supporting iterative and incremental delivery practices.
Your profile
- Proven expertise in business analysis with the ability to gather, document, and analyze core banking needs.
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems related to accounts and payments; mandatory experience in banking (domestic and international payments).
- Basic SQL proficiency for data retrieval, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.
- Awareness of SDLC processes to align deliverables across development phases.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail for identifying solutions and delivering reliable outputs.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective coordination between teams in Sofia and Frankfurt.
- Proficiency in English (B2 mandatory), and German language (highly appreciated) for cross-locational teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset for identifying solutions, driving tasks independently, and delivering high-quality results.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of testing/UAT processes, mentoring team members, and cross-cultural collaboration experience.

With our innovative account products and services, we are the key to the customer interface! We develop standardized, individual and complex account products including the conception and marketing of integrated price and service bundles. We are responsible for the account creation process as well as account management (booking, contracts, contract management, product and condition management) and account offboarding (account deletion process). We orchestrate Commerzbank’s account platform and provide account information and convenience services around the account.
