Product Owner (International Business Solutions) - Sofia/Plovdiv (m/f/diverse)

    Your tasks

    • Developing a product vision in accordance with the objectives of the bank strategy for the modernization of our core banking system
    • Analyzing existing IT solution and proposing enhancement ideas, such as design improvement, interfaces architecture and creating the backlog for technical documentation for existing and new features;
    • Being responsible for the product backlog, determine the sprint backlog prior to every sprint through prioritization by business value and/or customer benefit and managing the relationship with customers/stakeholders
    • Supporting 3rd party team and own developer team in current software development and ensure code/product compatibility with internal development standards
    • Ensuring stable operation as per the service level agreements, IT security guidelines, user privilege management policy and the regulatory requirements, e.g. in connection with the backlog
    • Organizing and being responsible for a meaningful assessment of the user stories, conduct acceptance of the sprint result prior to presentation in the review meeting, defining acceptance criteria for user stories prior to sprint planning and obtain commitment of the team for the sprint backlog

    Your profile

    • Previous experience as Product Owner;
    • Experience with analyzing and designing complex software architecture.
    • Good knowledge and experience with programming language (Java, C#/.NET, VB)
    • Practical knowledge of webservices, REST and message brokerage tools (MQ). Ability to design APIs;
    • Practical knowledge of design patterns, data models and best development practices;
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills;
    • Proactively driving projects and tasks to deliver results;
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
    • Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
    • University degree in IT or relevant.

    The IBSol team supports our international locations, in order to serve customers, offer stable IT systems and processes and act as advocates for the international locations in the digital transformation.

    In your role as a Product Owner your fields of duty are to drive the modernization of our Core Banking System by developing and implementing strategic solutions that enhance product and process efficiency. This includes managing product backlogs for modernizing the architecture and technical setup of the application, ensuring operational stability, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
