We are looking for an ServiceNow Platform Engineer to join one of our infrastructure teams that is responsible for implementation and support of ServiceNow solution in Commerzbank, including CMDB, Discovery, IT Operations Management, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and SecOps.

Your tasks

  • Maintaining operational stability of ServiceNow ITSM across production and non-production environments.
  • Developing and troubleshooting of ServiceNow ITSM processes.
  • Support and collaborate with product owners, enhancing ITSM processes and ensuring delivery and maintenance of ITSM processes.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and defects related to ServiceNow ITSM processes.
  • Support the integrations of ServiceNow ITSM with third-party solutions through Web Service calls and API development.
  • Implementing, testing and deploying new features and enhancements.
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying areas of improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with other stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Good understanding of ServiceNow ITSM architecture, principles and processes.
  • Good understanding of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow Catalog Items.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript or other programming languages.
  • Experience in the following ServiceNow application development skills: Client-Side and Server-Side Scripting (Ex. Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, etc.)
  • Experience with integration between ServiceNow and other third-party systems.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is a plus.
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure components.
  • Problem-solving, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
  • Ability to work in agile environment.
  • English written and spoken, any German skills would be seen as an advantage.
  • Logical and analytical thinking.
