Project Manager Key Area Strategy & Development (m/f/diverse)

• Successfully completed university degree and very good written and spoken English, complemented by at least good German language skills. Any better German skills will be highly beneficial in your role.
• Experience in project management.
• Confident use of AI tools, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, and a strong commitment to integrating them purposefully into day-to-day work.
• You identify the need for action, develop pragmatic solutions, and bring topics successfully over the finish line with persistence and execution strength.
• You do not wait for instructions; you act proactively, take ownership, and independently move topics forward.
• You work pragmatically and solution-oriented while retaining a clear overview in complex situations.
• You bring strong self-motivation, learn new topics quickly, and independently develop effective solutions.
• You know how to align diverse stakeholders behind shared objectives and achieve sustainable outcomes.
• You have gained experience in IT (e.g. from working in the IT / our delivery organization) and through that you gained know-how on how IT works and different technologies used.

CIO PSBC is building the digital advisory bank of tomorrow and is responsible for the bank's core products, including accounts and deposits, payments, securities, and lending. Key Area Steering & Development (KASD) owns the strategic, steering, transformation-related, and architectural agenda across CIO PSBC and serves as the direct interface to the CIO PSBC Executive Board member and the Cluster Leads.

The role consists of two parts:

First, we are looking for a seasoned project manager who combines strategic thinking with strong technical or analytical understanding and a clear focus on execution. You will connect management, the bank's strategic programmes, and our cluster delivery organisations, helping translate strategic objectives into measurable implementation. Together, we will further develop the CIO PUK strategy and transform the Key Area.

Second, we just started ramping up our presence in Sofia. You will be the local lead for other people in our division in Sofia. As part of this role alongside the disciplinary managers in Frankfurt, you will guide more junior staff and help develop our local franchise.
