Your tasks
- Analyzing business needs and translating them into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Experts, UX/UI specialists, Developers, Testers, Architects and other stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle;
- Clarifying requirements, dependencies, business rules and open questions during discovery, refinement, planning and implementation activities;
- Supporting the design and enhancement of digital banking products, customer-facing applications and related business capabilities;
- Analyzing business processes, customer journeys and user needs to identify optimization opportunities and improve customer experience;
- Defining, maintaining and continuously improving functional documentation, process models, business rules and requirement specifications;
- Facilitating workshops, requirement sessions and alignment meetings with business and technology stakeholders;
- Supporting backlog management and prioritization activities by providing impact assessments, dependency analysis and business value evaluations;
- Contributing to testing activities by reviewing test scenarios, clarifying expected behavior and validating delivered functionality against business requirements;
- Investigating functional issues, incidents and defects together with development, testing and operations teams to support resolution and continuous improvement;
- Ensuring that proposed solutions and requirements comply with regulatory, security, audit and internal governance standards;
- Supporting data analysis and business reporting activities to validate assumptions, measure outcomes and support decision-making;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of analysis practices, delivery processes, documentation standards and product knowledge within the team.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in analyzing the business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements for the corporate mobile application;
- Strong experience in creating structured user stories, acceptance criteria and functional descriptions for implementation and testing;
- Proven experience in maintaining and structure backlog items, requirements, dependencies and implementation clarifications;
- Strong experience in aligning requirements and open topics with Product Owners, Business Experts, UX/UI, developers, testers and architects;
- Experience with creating and maintaining functional specifications, process descriptions and decision documentation;
- Good knowledge in describing relevant business processes, user journeys and functional flows using structured modeling approaches such as BPMN;
- Experience in query and analyze structured data needed for functional investigation, validation and product improvement;
- Experience in supporting test preparation and validation by clarifying expected behavior, reviewing test scenarios and analyzing defects;
- Great communication skills as well as self-motivation;
- Customer orientation and ownership attitude for the assigned responsibilities to deliver results in time and in line with the clients need;
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in Finances, IT or relevant.

As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to the functional design, development and continuous improvement of Commerzbank's digital channels and customer-facing banking solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, UX/UI specialists, software engineers, architects, testers and operations teams to understand business needs, analyze processes and translate requirements into clear, implementable solutions. The role focuses on bridging business and technology by ensuring that customer and business objectives are effectively transformed into high-quality digital products and services.
