Commerzbank is looking for a Senior Business Expert for standard sourcing systems such as SAP Ariba, SAP MM and Ivalua. You will connect business, IT and operations, using strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with management, business teams, developers and other stakeholders.
As a Senior Business Expert, you will design, improve and govern procurement systems based on standard software. You will lead functional design, expand the systems with suitable AI capabilities, drive continuous improvement, manage complex changes and rollouts, and provide expert support.
The COPS Cluster (Corporate Platforms) provides and operates shared, group-wide platforms for Commerzbank’s core business processes. It delivers stable, scalable and secure solutions for areas including physical security, access management, continuity management and corporate customer services. Agile, cross-functional teams modernise legacy applications, adopt cloud and AI solutions, and integrate them into Commerzbank’s digital ecosystem.
Your tasks
- Strong knowledge of standard software such as SAP Ariba, SAP MM, Ivalua or other.
- Good understanding of procurement processes.
- Ability to turn business requirements into functional specifications and configuration concepts.
- Ability to design and improve end-to-end processes and system integrations.
- Ability to maintain documentation, standards and governance for procurement systems.
- Experience in planning and running user acceptance, integration and regression tests, including defect resolution.
- Ability to provide third-level support and guide junior experts and key users.
- Motivation to develop sourcing systems further, including the responsible use of AI-supported functions.
- Ability to work in an agile, cross-functional and international team.
- B2 German language skills, as you will work with colleagues in Germany and Prague.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience with SAP Ariba, SAP MM, Ivalua or other standard corporate procurement solutions.
- Significant hands-on experience as a business expert.
- Knowledge of corporate procurement processes, including purchasing, inventory management and supply chain activities.
- Clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience in agile ways of working.
- A collaborative and reliable approach.
