We are seeking a senior SAP Business expert with 7 to 10 years of professional experience and a strong command of SAP PS to join our SAP team in Prague.
The SAP IT team in Prague is a part of the Finance Cluster, with a primary mission to implement, enhance, and support SAP systems.
You will be part of the modernization of the Bank’s Finance IT landscape with focus on the SAP module Project Systems.
Your tasks
- Analyse business requirements in management, controlling and reporting of projects, and translate them into sustainable SAP PS solutions in the S/4HANA environment.
- Further develop SAP PS processes and functionality (including customisation), project structures, planning, budgeting, cost processes, workflows, interfaces, data flows, user authorisation, add-ons and Fiori-related applications.
- Act independently as the link between business and development teams, focusing on tasks and projects related to SAP systems, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of objectives.
- Ensure that implemented solutions meet quality, compliance, governance and audit requirements in a regulated environment through structured testing (functional, as well as system integration), defect management and clear documentation.
- Act as an interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, working closely with product owners, scrum masters, developers and application operations.
- Support agile planning cycles by contributing feasibility assessments, solution concepts, reliable cost estimates and transparent prioritization input for sprint and quarterly planning.
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes in dialogue with system users and data recipients, and collaborate with technical colleagues to design and implement sustainable improvements.
- Support change and training activities and provide technical third-level support for productive SAP solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Business Experts, promoting knowledge sharing, professional development and consistent ways of working across the team.
- Develop expertise in SAP technologies and related modules to support future organizational needs.
Your Profile
- Strong background and enthusiasm for Finance and IT, with several years of experience as an SAP Business Expert with SAP PS. Additional knowledge of SAP PPM would be desirable.
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate professional experience within Finance function and is familiar with project controlling processes including planning, budgeting, cost tracking, expense recording and reporting. Experience in Banking or Consulting is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, migration projects from SAP R/3 to S/4 and basic SAP ABAP/4 knowledge is a plus.
- Skilled in requirements analysis, process design, data migration, testing, defect management, and documentation.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with a focus on process-oriented thinking.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an international and agile working environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
