"Our Prague hub is thriving! To support our growing responsibilities and scale our capabilities, we are expanding our team with this newly created position. If you are looking for a role where you can truly own the process design and collaborate closely across locations, I would love to connect. Are you passionate about translating complex business needs into elegant, automated solutions? Do you excel at structuring large-scale problems, fostering collaboration, and engaging directly with stakeholders to drive results?
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing product development team. Our team is distributed between Prague and Frankfurt, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we work together and in designing and implementing the next generation of our KYC processes on a modern BPM platform.
Your tasks
- Collaborative Stakeholder Partnership & Requirement Engineering
Work closely with business stakeholders and partners across Prague and Frankfurt to elicit, analyze, and translate complex KYC challenges into clear, testable, and actionable user stories for the development team. - Process & Solution Design with Shared Accountability
Lead the analysis and design of KYC process solutions, breaking down large problems into small, incremental delivery steps. Take end-to-end accountability for your functional area—from initial discovery through implementation and validation—while ensuring alignment with colleagues in both locations. - Autonomous Analysis & Ownership of Domain
Independently drive the requirement analysis process in your area of responsibility. Act as the “go‑to” person for your domain, ensuring transparency, traceability of decisions, and clear communication of changes to both business and IT stakeholders. - Process Automation & Implementation
Design, implement, and adapt critical KYC processes using our Camunda BPM engine. Your work will directly influence services that automatically interact with our customers, and you will collaborate closely with engineers and other BAs across Prague and Frankfurt. - Test Design & Quality Assurance
Take responsibility for the functional test design of your area. Specify and review test cases based on requirements and processes, ideally using Gherkin or an equivalent behavior‑driven approach (e.g., Given‑When‑Then). Work with QA and developers to ensure high-quality, maintainable automated tests and clearly defined acceptance criteria. - Business Impact & Data Analysis
Use SQL to perform data-driven analysis and assess the business impact of changes prior to release, ensuring the quality, correctness, and integrity of our solutions. - Agile Collaboration in a Distributed Team
Act as a key liaison between business and IT in an agile setup. Facilitate a shared understanding of goals and requirements across Prague and Frankfurt, contribute to backlog refinement, and ensure alignment within the cross‑location delivery team.
Your Profile
- Proven Business Analysis Experience
Solid track record as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage complex requirements (ideally 5+ years of experience), preferably in cross‑location or distributed teams. - Strong Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You can build trust and drive alignment with partners at all levels and in both locations (Prague and Frankfurt), fostering a culture of shared ownership and accountability. - Technical & Process Automation Acumen
Ability to translate business logic into clear technical specifications. Experience with BPM engines (Camunda is a strong plus) or process automation is highly desirable. - Test Design Mindset
Experience in defining or reviewing test cases and acceptance criteria is a plus; familiarity with Gherkin (or similar BDD syntax) is considered a strong advantage. - Structured Problem-Solver
A highly structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a proven ability to dissect complex issues and design simple, effective, and well-documented solutions. - Data Skills
Experience with SQL or a demonstrated ability to learn it quickly to support data-driven decision-making. - Language Proficiency
Fluent and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. German language skills are a plus. - Forward-Thinking Interests (Plus)
A demonstrated interest or experience (professional or personal) in AI or Agentic AI is a welcome bonus.
