Senior Mainframe System Storage Engineer (m/f/diverse)

• Proven experience with z/OS operating system - Installation, configuration, maintenance and operation, creating and managing technical documentation;
• Strong experience with Mainframe Storage and Hardware - design, planning and development of technical solutions, performance analysis and tuning, problem determination and 3rd level support;
• Experience with mainframe high availability concepts (Parallel Sysplex) as well as disaster recovery features, functions and procedures;
• Good knowledge of central mainframe structures such as data sharing, parallel sysplex, D/R prevention;
• Experience Migrating zServer to new series;
• A strong analytical mindset to identify and solve problems;
• Strong customer and service orientation, with solid analytical and conceptual skills;
• Great communication skills as well as self-motivation;
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken, German will be considered as advantage;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
