Your tasks
Our Risk Control division supports the bank in managing and monitoring risks. As part of the digital transformation, we want to further automate our processes by leveraging cutting-edge data science and AI solutions in a practical way – this is where you come in. We're looking for an analytical mind with robust coding skills to drive this evolution.
- Design and implement AI and automation solutions to improve risk processes
- Analyse and prepare data to support data-driven risk decisions
- Develop and optimize workflows using tools such as Python, Power Automate or n8n
- Ensure clear documentation of developed solutions (e.g. technical descriptions, user guides)
- Support the team in data preparation, analysis, and quality assurance
- Take ownership of smaller use cases or automation solutions end-to-end
Your Profile
- Ongoing studies in Data Science, (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Economics with an IT focus, or a comparable degree program
- Very strong technical affinity and a pronounced interest in automation, AI, and data-driven solutions, including the strategic application of prompt engineering to craft precise and effective prompts that guide AI models for specific tasks, such as generating structured outputs, extracting information from unstructured data, or refining model behaviour to achieve desired outcomes
- Proven hands-on programming experience, preferably in Python, demonstrating proficiency with key data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Ideally, initial practical experience, e.g. through a pre-internship or a working student position
- Ideally, initial experience with data visualization (e.g., Plotly Dash, Power BI), low-code/workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, n8n), or cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure)
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical, structured, and independent way of working, as well as a strong willingness to learn
- Reliability, initiative, and enjoyment of working in a team
- Good written and spoken English or German skills
- Available for a period of 6 months, preferably starting in August
