Mainframe JCL Batch Engineer (m/f/diverse)

• Proven experience with WS for zOS. Recognizing technical-logical relationships in the analysis of errors in daily processing and their rectification. Advising, coordination and clarification on the procedure for decentralized connections. Implementing the requirements in accordance with the data center manual;

• Strong experience with JCL (writing/analysing). Creation, modification of JCL using job control generator for IMS, DB2 and batch programs (BMP and DLI). Log in jobs to Checkpoint database (IMS/DB2). Identification of the JCL components to be deleted and modified;

• Excellent experience with designing Batchjobs and TWS Applications;
• Experience with SQL experience, JES2, ProcMan, TSO/ISPF;
• A strong analytical mindset to identify and solve problems;
• Strong customer and service orientation, with solid analytical and conceptual skills;
• Great communication skills as well as self-motivation;
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken, German will be considered as advantage;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
