SAP HCM/SuccessFactors Employee Central Operations Specialist (m/f/diverse)

    Your tasks

    • Integration Operations: Operating and monitoring integrations between SAP R3 HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central, including interfaces to connected internal and external systems.
    • Error Handling & Synchronization Issues: Analyzing and resolving data replication errors, inconsistencies and failed messages; deciding when records should be excluded from synchronization and implementing the necessary corrections or adjustments.
    • Data Quality & Consistency: Ensuring that employee master data and organizational data are correctly transferred and aligned between systems, including any relevant transformation or mapping logic.
    • Incident & Problem Management: Handling incidents related to integration and synchronization, performing root cause analysis, and proposing sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.
    • Time Management & Time Tracking: Supporting the analyzing and resolution of issues related to Time Management and Time Tracking (e.g. working time, absences, time sheets, time evaluation). Coordinating with HR and technical teams to ensure correct reflection of time data across systems.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as a technical contact for HR, IT colleagues and external vendors regarding integration topics and data integrity and provide clear explanations to non-technical stakeholders.

    Your profile

    • University degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Professional experience in a similar role (e.g. SAP HCM Consultant, Integration Specialist, Engineer Operations, System Administrator or DevOps in an SAP environment).

    SAP HCM / SAP R3:

    • Solid understanding of SAP HCM (e.g. PA/OM) and related HR master data.
    • Experience with data interfaces and HR processes is a strong plus.

    SuccessFactors Employee Central:

    • Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and its data model.
    • Experience with replication scenarios between SuccessFactors and on-premise systems (SAP HCM / SAP R3) is highly desirable.

    Integration & Interfaces:

    • Experience with managing and monitoring HR integrations (e.g. via SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI, middleware, or IDoc/flat-file interfaces).
    • Understanding of common interface technologies and formats (e.g. IDoc, CSV, XML, JSON, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP/REST).

    Error Analysis & Troubleshooting:

    • Strong analytical skills to identify, analyze and correct integration and synchronization errors.
    • Ability to interpret log files, error messages and payloads and derive appropriate corrective actions.

    Time Management Knowledge:

    • Experience with SAP HCM Time Management and/or SuccessFactors Time Management / Time Tracking is an advantage.
    • Ability to support analysis of issues in time evaluation, absences, working time models, etc
    • Knowledge of change and incident management processes and tools (ITIL or similar frameworks).
    • Experience with Agile software development and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
    • Independent and structured working methods with a high degree of personal responsibility.
    • Good communication and cooperation skills.
