Your tasks

The Product Owner Cyber Hygiene Factory is responsible for the backlog, roadmap and overall effectiveness of the operational cyber hygiene processes (especially vulnerability, patch and baseline configuration management). The role ensures the Cyber Hygiene Factory delivers measurable risk reduction and aligns with business, IT and regulatory priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Cyber Hygiene Factory product backlog (epics, user stories, requirements)
  • Prioritise initiatives based on risk, regulatory requirements, business impact and available capacity
  • Work closely with Vulnerability Analysts, Vulnerability Consultants and Security Problem Managers in daily operations
  • Define and monitor goals and KPIs for the Cyber Hygiene Factory (e.g. patch compliance, SLA adherence, vulnerability aging)
  • Align with IT operations, application teams, the CISO organisation and 2nd LoD to ensure end-to-end process integration
  • Drive the design and improvement of standardised treatment patterns, processes and playbooks
  • Integrate lessons learned from incidents and problem management into Factory processes
  • Communicate roadmap, status and risks to management and relevant stakeholders
  • Drive the deployment and integration of new cybersecurity/vulnerability solutions that strengthen the organization security posture

Your profile

  • Several years of experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role in an IT or security context
  • Good understanding of cyber security, in particular vulnerability, patch and configuration management
  • Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and make trade-off decisions in complex environments
  • Very good English skills; German is an advantage
