Senior Java Developer (Business connectivity) (m/f/diverse)

• Strong experience in development of microservices with latest Java / Spring Boot in the cloud;
• Strong understanding and experience building CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD, Vault, Helm, Teamcity, etc.;
• Strong API design and integration skills. Experience working with event-driven architecture;
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift;
• Knowledge in the field of Software Architecture;
• Good knowledge in Monitoring (Dynatrace and Elastic Stack);
• Analytic thinking with attention to details to solve problems;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

The Business Connectivity Cluster drives Commerzbank's transformation into a digital technology leader by developing and advancing essential integration technologies, including APIs, TokenManager, Kafka, MFT, and MCP. These tools form the backbone of our digital infrastructure, enabling innovative and seamless customer solutions in the German market.

We are searching for an experienced Java developer for our Wolpertinger team. As part of the Business Connectivity Cluster, the team consults projects on API design, supports technical analysis of requirements and ensures stable operation of existing APIs and mid-tiers. The team handles general API support inquiries, guide consumers through project staging and contributes to building a robust, cloud-based API helps position Commerzbank as a leading provider of simple, innovative API-based solutions in the German market.
