Development Java Lead (MCP) (m/f/diverse)

• Very good knowledge of Java / Java Script;
• Experience with Java development or other Object Oriented language;
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC;
• Knowledge about Monitoring Systems (e.g Kibana, Dynatrace, Prometheus,Grafana);
• Basic experience with automated Web Services tests;
• Joy of developing innovative software in an agile team and motivation to learn quickly;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions. In addition to that our cluster has spread across multiple technologies including Kafka, MQ, MFT, TokenManager.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to design, build, and deploy secure backend services connecting our core banking systems to advanced AI models. In this role, you will lead the implementation of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateway, enabling AI-driven solutions to interact securely with live data, internal APIs, and digital services.
