Junior Application Operations Engineer - Token Manager (Business Connectivity) (m/f/diverse)

    Your tasks

    • Supporting and monitoring the operational readiness of the application infrastructure (TokenManager) in a mission critical computing environment. This position is responsible for supporting assigned software products and associated hardware and operating systems relevant to TM;
    • Monitoring performance of applications and act on changes. Responding to application outages and performing routine maintenance on assigned applications;
    • Providing support for projects and implemented applications;
    • Deploying and managing infrastructure and solutions on Azure or GCP using containerization technologies like Open Shift, Docker/Kubernetes;
    • Identifying, isolating, and troubleshooting issues and drive development of solutions;
    • Assisting with capacity planning to ensure application is scaled to meet current and projected capacities;
    • Assisting in maintaining version, patch and security levels, in accordance with the strategic direction of the company;
    • Client Support: Providing technical support to clients, assisting them with Token Manager related inquiries, troubleshooting issues and process optimization;
    • On-call: Being part of the on-call team that is responsible for the 24/7 operations of the products.

     

    Your profile

    • Experience with Keycloak or similar identity and access management solutions and understanding of OAuth2/OIDC would be considered as an advantage;
    • Knowledge about OpenShift and Kubernetes;
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud;
    • Familiar with Terraform and Helm establishing infrastructure;
    • Experience with Monitoring systems such as Dynatrace, Kibana, etc.
    • Good Database knowledge;
    • Familiar with Git, Bitbucket etc.
    • Familiar with tools like Ansible, TeamCity, QuayGood team player with high ability to work in cross-locational and international teams;
    • Knowledge of HPESM, JIRA and Confluence;
    • University degree in IT or relevant.

    The Business Connectivity Cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure. Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions. In addition to that our cluster has spread across multiple technologies including Kafka, MQ, MFT, and Token Manager.

    We have built a team that streamlines the creation, distribution and management of tokens and are seeking a proactive and motivated Junior Application Operations Engineer to join our Token Manager team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Token Manager Infrastructure and the associated software products and operating systems.
