Welcome to the team: Regular Python Developer (flexhub) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Developing, testing, and maintenance of Python application;
- Working with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to satisfy project needs;
- Troubleshooting and code debugging;
- Developing and maintaining code and application documentation;
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices for the team;
- Optimizing existing databases reprogrammed to increase functionality;
- Improving responsiveness and overall performance by developing back-end components;
- Enhancing the functionality of existing systems;
- Deploying data security and protection solutions;
- Writing scripts for maintaining and monitoring the file transfer platform;
- Working closely with the other members of your team in an agile environment and support them in all operational issues.
Your profile
- Good Python programming skills;
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as teamcity, bitbucket, git;
- basic understanding of UNIX fundamentals, standard command knowledge and programming languages. Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes required;
- Basic knowledge of tools as HPESM, JIRA and Confluence;
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is added advantage;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies;
- Basic knowledge in using unit testing and automated testing tools with some prior experience;
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
