Business Analyst (Cards and New Payments) (m/f/diverse)

    Your tasks

    • Independently eliciting, analyzing, structuring, and documenting complex business and functional requirements, ensuring clarity, consistency, and full traceability;
    • Analyzing existing business processes and designing optimized target processes, including handling variants, dependencies, and exceptions, using appropriate modeling tools (e.g. BPMN);
    • Acting as an additional point of contact alongside the Product Owner for business and IT stakeholders, facilitating discussions, clarifying expectations, and fostering a shared understanding across teams;
    • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, developers, architects, and other experts, translating business requirements into feasible, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions;
    • Actively contributing to agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and supporting product backlog management with well-structured user stories and clear acceptance criteria;;
    • Supporting functional and user acceptance testing by defining test scenarios, reviewing results, and validating that solutions meet business, user, and regulatory requirements;
    • Conducting change and impact analyses across processes, systems, and stakeholder groups, enabling smooth implementation and minimizing operational and regulatory risk.

    Your profile

    • Expertise in creating accurate and comprehensive process models using BPM tools such as Adonis or First Spirit.
    • Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and proposing solutions.
    • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business processes, working collaboratively for optimal results.
    • Prior experience in account-related banking products with basic awareness of IT processes and technologies.
    • Understanding the fundamentals of API protocols. Familiarity with tools like Swaggerfor designing, documenting, and testing REST APIs, ensuring clear communication with developers and efficient system-to-system integrations.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Active participation in Scrum ceremonies as a subject matter expert and contributor to iterative, incremental delivery practices.
    • Ability to utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, document requirements, and maintain project knowledge bases effectively.
