We are seeking motivated support for our Bond Syndicate team. As an intern, you will gain exposure to the workflows and processes within various sectors of the bond market, including Sovereign, Supranational and Agency (SSA), Financial Institutions Group (FIG), and Corporate Bonds. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain hands-on insights into the development, marketing, and execution of transactions in the international bond market.
Your tasks

Key Responsibilities:
Support in Transaction Processes:
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of bond syndication transactions across various CHF sectors.
- Supporting tasks such as pricing, creating marketing materials, organizing roadshows, and post-transaction reporting.
- Monitoring and analyzing market activities for SSA, FIG, and Corporate Bond issuances.
Research and Analysis:
- Conducting market and investor analyses to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations and pitch materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the analysis of pricing strategies and investor preferences.
Team Support:
- Collaborating closely with Syndicate, Origination, and Trading teams to ensure operational excellence in transactions.
- Supporting the identification and implementation of digital tools and workflow optimizations.
Client and Investor Communication:
- Assisting in maintaining relationships with issuers and institutional investors.
- Supporting the preparation of client requests and managing follow-ups.
Your profile
Required Profile:
- Studies in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong interest in capital markets.
- Initial experience through internships or relevant academic projects in Finance is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
- Interest in the bond market and basic understanding of financial instruments (bonds).
- Familiarity with MS Office applications; basic knowledge of platforms like Bloomberg is an advantage.
Personal Attributes:
- Team-oriented, with a proactive and motivated working style.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Open and communicative in an international environment.
- Ability to organize projects in a structured and self-reliant manner.
