Your tasks
- Regularly exchanging with other Scrum Masters/Agile Coaches of the cluster in the “scrum of scrum Team” to take care of overarching tasks;
- Supporting the Product Owner in the processing of the product backlog and prioritization, and regularly coordinating all content issues with the Product Owner;
- Leading, advising, coaching, and supporting the core team/agile team so that it ultimately becomes a self-organizing, self-responsible and highly productive team without assuming disciplinary leadership responsibility for the core team members;
- Moderating decision-making processes, problem solving and conflicts within the Scrum team, leading the impediment backlog and escalating it;
- Preparing and moderating scrum meetings such as Backlog Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and being responsible for conducting the Sprint Retrospective.
Your profile
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory;
- Very good knowledge about how to support the self-organization and responsibility of the agile team;
- Being able to coach the Product Owner and the team members to support them in personal and team development;
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
- Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.);
- Solid knowledge about moderating different meetings and events;
- Being critical thinker and having problem-solving skills;
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills;
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) would be considered as an advantage
- University degree in IT or relevant.

The Business Connectivity Cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs and other integration patterns that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure. Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions.
We work in a cluster structure in which the project teams organize themselves and work flexibly on their tasks. Each project team assumes product responsibility from start to finish, from software development to operation. The teams use agile working methods for their organisation to be able to deliver the products to the customers faster and more efficiently. The Scrum Master ensures compliance with the Scrum values and principles in the Scrum team.
