Welcome to the team: Chapter Lead (Business Connectivity) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Leading and developing a team of Java and DevOps Engineers, which are located in Sofia;
- Ensuring and optimizing productivity, efficiency and the quality of work within the chapter;
- Being responsible for making available the necessary staff for the various cells, both in terms of quality and numbers, and ongoing coordination with the product owners regarding their personnel requirements and the material work processes;
- Leading and improving an agile team setup;
- Reporting functionally to the cluster lead, which is located in Germany (Frankfurt);
- Receiving, evaluating and prioritizing requirements from the PO and implementing and delivering the requirements with the team;
- Developing new web-based applications and frontends for digital products and services of the bank. These new web-based applications are part of the portal platform of the bank.
- Integrating backend systems from the Commerzbank IT landscape to realize the functionality of your own application;
- Designing and developing solutions for complex business requirements and business data objects of the digital finance functionalities and processes. Of course, you will be supported by the business analysts and other developers of the team
- Working in an Agile team setup.
Your profile
- Strong understanding how to lead and develop a team of developers, testers, and solution architects;
- Very good knowledge of protecting digital assets, networks, and data through firewalls, encryption and monitoring;
- Advanced knowledge of analyzing business requirements and designing solutions;
- Good understanding of conducting vulnerability assessments and audits to identify risks and improvements;
- Experience in leading scrum ceremonies;
- Good knowledge of receiving, evaluating and prioritizing requirements for the team from various product owners;
- Experience in supporting stakeholders and deliver solutions;
- University degree in IT or relevant.

The Business Connectivity Cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure. Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions. In addition to that our cluster has spread across multiple technologies including DLT, Kafka, MQ, MFT, Token Manager.
