Audit Specialist Credit (m/f/diverse)

• Several years of successful experience in auditing a financial institution or an auditing firm and/or practical experience in risk management ;
• Deep understanding of the principles and methods of credit risk management, including the assessment of creditworthiness and risk evaluation;
• Experience dealing with legal and regulatory requirements;
• Deep knowledge of relevant German, European and international laws, regulations, and standards that pertain to lending and monitoring (e.g., Banking Act (KWG), EBA Guidelines on Asset Management (EBALoaM));
• Ethical behavior and integrity are non-negotiable in auditing. Candidates must demonstrate honesty, accountability, and a strong moral compass, ensuring all activities are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and compliance;
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial. The candidate should be able to clearly articulate audit findings, engage in productive discussions with stakeholders, and present reports concisely. Effective communication ensures transparency and fosters strong relationships within the organization;
• Precision and accuracy are paramount in auditing. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of an audit is meticulously checked and reported, minimizing errors and maintaining high-quality standards;
• Fluency in English and German – both written and spoken.
