Welcome to the team: Chapter Lead Development (New Mainframe) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Further building-up of our DevOps-team in Sofia and the disciplinary management of a chapter's staff within the New Mainframe/Enterprise Platforms-Cluster;
- Supporting the Product Owners in achieving their goals by providing the necessary qualitative and quantitative capacities and ensuring the professional development of your employees by bundling know-how, a permanent knowledge exchange and best practice approaches in the chapter;
- Being proactively responsible for the permanent exchange between the cells and chapters and ensure smooth collaboration with other Chapter Leads;
- Supporting actively the further ramp-up of your team, i.e. support search and recruit teams and the integration of new talents in your team;
- Leading and developing a team of Developers/Engineers, which are located in Sofia;
- Ensuring and optimizing productivity, efficiency and the quality of work within the chapter;
- Leading and improving an agile team setup.
Your profile
- Proven previous experience in leadership of teams and team management;
- High problem, escalation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent customer focused communication and collaboration skills, both written and oral;
- Experience with Mainframe high availability concepts (Parallel Sysplex) as well as disaster recovery features, functions and procedures;
- Experience with Unix System Services (USS) and zFS;
- Strong mentoring and leadership, communication, and coaching skills;
- Knowledge in z/OS operating system and mainframe system software in general including add-on-software and tools;
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or relevant.
