Your tasks
The Executive area Lending provides debt and structured financing solutions to corporates. This includes advisory services as well as the acquisition, structuring and execution of capital market transactions and structured financing solutions worldwide with teams in Germany and internationally.
The specialist FE Sales International is responsible for the acquisition, origination and execution of complex and client-specific financing and consulting solutions for corporate customers.
As part of his sales responsibility, he is responsible for identifying business opportunities and leveraging revenue-optimized customer potential. In doing so, he collaborates closely with the Relationship Managers, FE specialists and product units of Lending and Capital Markets.
He is responsible for the sales revenues and profitability of his executed transactions considering applicable risks and for the development of the assigned portfolio.
His activities are aligned with the Bank’s strategic goals and business priorities.
• Comprehensive identification of needs for all financing instruments/capital market products and close networking in the regional client sales team and with the product specialists from Lending and Capital Markets so that optimal advice and further development of the FE target customers and high-quality transfer is guaranteed
• Take ownership for revenues- and risk-oriented further development of the responsible FE existing and potential customer portfolio through direct customer access, initiating/leading "strategy: dialogues" and developing creative, individual financing structures
• Acquisition, structuring, negotiation and implementation of highly complex individual financing mandates/solutions (business model analysis, financial modeling including sensitization, future assessment)
• Self-reliant advice to customers on questions related to balance sheet structuring and financing structure, including tax and balance sheet aspects with the aim of initiating and implementing highly complex solutions
• Comprehensive participation in the credit decision via FE's statement in the credit application, which includes amongst others the elements of the overall financing structure and strategy, economic and financial planning, key financial figures and the risk/return assessment
• Coordination of documentation process for loan agreements: Negotiation and involvement of all relevant stakeholders, coordination of signing and closing
• Performing company, market and industry research, driving options for action and preparing information material suitable for the respective target groups
• Independent expansion and (further) development of the regional network to competitors, advisors, multipliers, etc.
• Internal Multiplier for industry, FE and lending product topics
• Independent speaker activities as part of the bank's qualification measures and at events with corporates
He ensures the use of the data processing systems/ applications provided to him by the bank.
Your profile
- Degree level education or Commercial training (e.g. as a banker) supplemented with professional qualifications in banking
- Experience: min. 5 years of professional experience as a specialist structured finance or corporate banking (Front office or Risk Department)
