Your tasks

The Cluster Payment Transactions delivers fast, client focused payment products and services for all clients globally - electronically and traditionally. We combine all services regarding payments products from product management, product specific / technical sales support up to run and change all IT-systems. To support the business processes, we develop own, integrate 3rd party software applications and operate them on different IT-platforms. Operational stability is core and center for our provided services.

In your role as Junior Business Expert in CCC (Cluster Controlling & Communication) cell you will be controlling cluster activities and budget planning, manage cross-functional communication formats, coordinate across clusters. You will use modern IT infrastructure and tools and work in an environment of Agile product development.

As a Junior Business Expert in Payment Transactions with the focus on Financial Controlling, you will take on the following tasks or key responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional agile team with a specialization in payment transactions.
  • Create monthly reports and optimize related processes.
  • Create and manage user stories in JIRA
  • Support product owners (POs) within the cluster on topics related to budget and reporting.
  • Set up and administer account assignment objects to accurately record, allocate, and analyze transactions and costs. This facilitates the financial management and evaluation of business processes.
  • Provision of work inventories using SAP systems that enables working hours and activities to be recorded efficiently
  • Responsibility of the financial administration/management team for the cluster including planning, controlling various cost, and consulting budgets, as well as continuously improving management reports.
  • Provide advice, create, and maintain business cases for projects, including preparing materials for associated committees.
  • Coordinate with POs on procurement and maintenance of software from vendors.

Your profile

Which technology & skills are important for us?

  • Degree in economics with a focus on economic theory or comparable qualifications.
  • Proven experience in controlling, cost accounting, and using planning and controlling tools.
  • Proficiency in SAP and common MS Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of payment transactions products, services, and key processes.
  • Ability to present complex issues in a clear, concise, and targeted manner, coupled with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Basic knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools.
