As a Senior C#.NET Developer (m/f/d) you will be part of the Corporate Finance Team in Frankfurt. The team is responsible for developing Commerzbank applications that serve the primary market. You will work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding internal clients, interact directly with this business and have the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, results-oriented environment.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for:

  • Design and/or selection of system architecture for complex applications (including coordination with the central architecture department)
  • Definition of standards and methods (tools, coding standards, build process, configuration management)
  • Technical reviews of system components
  • Reengineering/refactoring of software systems
  • Development, testing, and deployment of changes
  • Third-level support for applications
  • Coordination of work packages within the developer team

Your profile

We are looking for candidates with these skills:

Extensive experience in .NET software development is required.

Excellent knowledge of:

  • Investment banking products and processes with a focus on the primary market (bonds, loans, bookbuilding processes, etc.)
  • Programming languages ​​and development tools – especially .NET Core & Framework/ASP.NET (HTML/JavaScript/CSS)/C#/Windows
  • IT processes and quality assurance
  • Application infrastructure and software architecture
  • Databases – especially Microsoft SQL Server

Very good knowledge of:

  • Project Management (PM) and PM tools
  • Agile working methods and processes
  • Banking and banking processes
  • IT security

Furthermore:

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and willingness to learn new technologies and business areas
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
  • Customer-oriented, solution- and goal-oriented, with the ability to anticipate future changes/requirements
  • Dedicated and highly motivated willingness to collaborate with internal clients and other Commerzbank units
  • Excellent communication skills with front-office users, including management
