In the Delivery Organisation of Group Finance, the Financial Instruments Cluster (GM-F FI) is responsible for the HGB and IFRS financial statements of the AG Inland. We are responsible for the applications for financial and management reporting. In this context, we are bringing together Group consolidation, accounting and controlling in terms of technology and processes and developing them further in an innovative and future-oriented manner. In addition, we provide quality-assured individual business data for internal risk and external regulatory reporting. 

Your tasks

  • As an Engineer Development, you will be part of an agile, cross-functional team and together as a team design the development of Accounting Apps.
  • In this position you will make technical adaptions and develop Smart Notes (LucaNet) and the inhouse Software FRESCO as part of an architecture that include SAP BCS on BW/4HANA.
  • You will coordinate infrastructure changes, e.g. MS SQL Server Upgrades and will be responsible for complex error analyses.  
  • Analyze business requirements, discuss and propose possible solutions.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios.
  • Ability to work in international environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level is required 

Your profile

  • Degree with a focus on economics or business informatics or comparable training or qualification
  • Sound knowledge and experience with SQL, VBA, Excel and MS Access and some experience in the finance department of a bank and/or in an IT-related working environment or in an auditing firm
  • Strong conceptual, process-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Knowledge and experience in UC4 development and implementation is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge with SAP Modules and Customizing is an advantage
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the IT environment and familiar with common standards is an advantage
  • Ability to work in agile environment.
  • Team player.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU.
