Your tasks
- Independently generating and developing innovative ideas to improve existing processes and solutions.
- Analyzing business requirements, identifying gaps, and designing solutions to bridge them effectively.
- Enhancing the bank's product catalog, customer management processes, and associated platforms to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborating closely with IT and development teams to ensure the smooth implementation of functional and technical solutions.
- Working alongside the Product Owner to assess, prioritize, and manage business requirements based on project goals and stakeholder needs.
- Actively contributing to a cross-functional agile team, which includes domain experts, fellow business analysts, architects, developers, and application operation specialists.
- Engaging in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) via virtual communication platforms (VidCo/Telco) or, when necessary, in person.
Your profile
- Technical Skills
- Business Analysis Expertise: Proficient in analyzing business requirements, conducting gap analysis, and translating needs into structured functional IT solutions. Proven ability to bridge the gap between business and IT, recommending optimal solutions for complex projects.
- Industry Experience: Practical experience within banking, fintech, or enterprise institutions, demonstrating an understanding of operational and business frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively in project delivery.
- Agile Software Development: Strong experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in structuring and refining user stories to ensure clear, actionable requirements. Experience with Scrum practices is essential, with a focus on delivering user-centric IT solutions.
- Testing/UAT: Experience in supporting user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions align with business requirements through thorough validation. Exposure to this skill is a plus and will be considered an advantage.
- Technology Experience: Exposure to API protocols, tools, or database technologies such as SQL, enabling effective system integration and data analysis. Experience with either of these areas will be considered as an advantage.
- Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for effective task management, collaboration, and requirement documentation. While not mandatory, expertise in these tools will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of SDLC: Awareness of the Software Development Lifecycle to coordinate and support project development activities. While not mandatory, familiarity with SDLC principles is an advantage.
- Process Flow Documentation: Ability to create and maintain detailed process-flow diagrams, facilitating clear communication across teams and stakeholders. This skill will provide an additional edge but is not mandatory.
- Proven Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills are critical to success in this role, with a strong focus on attention to detail and delivering actionable insights.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams, translating technical concepts into user-friendly terms.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to enhancing skills and staying updated on industry trends and tools.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and challenges with resilience.

With our innovative account products and services, we are the key to the customer interface! We develop standardized, individual and complex account products including the conception and marketing of integrated price and service bundles. We are responsible for the account creation process as well as account management (booking, contracts, contract management, product and condition management) and account offboarding (account deletion process). We orchestrate Commerzbank’s account platform and provide account information and convenience services around the account.
