Your tasks
- Independently generating and developing innovative ideas to improve existing processes and solutions.
- Analyzing business requirements, identifying gaps, and designing solutions to bridge them effectively.
- Enhancing the bank's product catalog, customer management processes, and associated platforms to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborating closely with IT and development teams to ensure the smooth implementation of functional and technical solutions.
- Working alongside the Product Owner to assess, prioritize, and manage business requirements based on project goals and stakeholder needs.
- Actively contributing to a cross-functional agile team, which includes domain experts, fellow business analysts, architects, developers, and application operation specialists.
- Engaging in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) via virtual communication platforms (VidCo/Telco) or, when necessary, in person.
Your profile
- Proficient in understanding and analyzing business requirements, including conducting gap analysis (current vs. target state). Responsible for gathering and documenting business needs and translating them into functional IT concepts or solutions.
- Capable of bridge the gap between business and IT as part of a cross-functional team. Posses a clear understanding of both business processes and technical capabilities to recommend optimal functional solutions or system setups. Readiness to receive focused training on banking products (e.g., account products) and the underlying IT infrastructure used within the organization.
- Several years of domain expertise within the banking industry, particularly with account-related products. Complement this knowledge with basic awareness of IT development processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Active participation in Scrum ceremonies as a subject matter expert and contributor to iterative, incremental delivery practices.
- Understanding the fundamentals of API protocols. Familiarity with tools like Swaggerfor designing, documenting, and testing REST APIs, ensuring clear communication with developers and efficient system-to-system integrations.
- Knowledge in Testing / UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)

With our innovative account products and services, we are the key to the customer interface! We develop standardized, individual and complex account products including the conception and marketing of integrated price and service bundles. We are responsible for the account creation process as well as account management (booking, contracts, contract management, product and condition management) and account offboarding (account deletion process). We orchestrate Commerzbank’s account platform and provide account information and convenience services around the account.
