The Mobile Services application supports Commerzbank's mobile apps, including Mobile Banking (private/business customers), Cash Management (corporate customers), and PhotoTAN (all customer groups). It provides platform services and features like app registration, consent management, profile settings, account alerts, branch finder, Gini Pay Photo Payment, and more to enhance user experience.

The Mobile Push Notification Service delivers notifications to Android and iOS devices for private and corporate customers. Notifications cover customer-related events (e.g., credit card provisioning, security purchases, blocked accounts) and bank-related updates (e.g., new product launches or marketing communications).

Your tasks

  • Prepare concepts, business process models, technical specifications, epics and technical user stories.
  • Understanding business requirements for backend applications and translation of the functional/non-functional requirements to technical requirements.
  • Foster a partnership with the stakeholders to be able to propose new ideas and alternative solutions.
  • Support the Product Owner in structuring and breaking down the backlog and creating user stories.
  • Provide support to end users including issue management and root cause analysis.
  • Analyse and manage dependencies/ interfaces with other systems.
  • Maintain and generate user documentation.
  • Define functional test scenarios along with the test team.
  • Support defect management, including analysis, resolution coordination and documentation.
  • Work as part of an agile team who together have the responsibility to deliver features and maintain operational stability across the entire lifecycle.

Your profile

  • Knowledge and extensive experience in business analysis.
  • Familiarity with APIs (create OpenAPI specification), SQL.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, writing user stories, and use cases.
  • Strong IT affinity and good knowledge of business workflow and data modeling.
  • Experience working with backend applications (microservices).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English – both written and spoken.
  • Optional: Fluent German – both written and spoken.
  • Soft skills: Communication, stakeholder management and teamwork.
