We’re looking forward to hiring an Architect in Prague (Lead or Domain Architect) to support our AppRaMo/Techcelerate Strategic Programme. 

Your tasks

  • Lead project teams as a specialist in domain/solution architecture topics, ensuring technical excellence and fostering the development of employees.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure alignment and collaboration across diverse teams and units.
  • Implement group-wide architecture principles within your assigned key area, while adhering to cross-divisional guidelines.
  • Take full ownership of introducing, applying, and operationalizing standard procedures, methods, and tools specific to your domain.
  • Oversee and drive projects aimed at documenting complex application and infrastructure landscapes, in close collaboration with Enterprise Architects.
  • Engage and inspire teams across IT and business units, promoting active participation in architectural initiatives.
  • Develop strategic implementation plans, roadmaps, and business case analyses for your designated area, in partnership with Enterprise Architects.
  • Proactively offer professional and technical architecture advisory services to clients, exceeding expectations even outside immediate projects.
  • Create high-quality solution architectures and assume ownership of delivery for complex and high-stakes projects.
  • Lead the operational management of large project teams on domain/solution architecture topics for challenging projects.
  • Define and maintain current and target architectures for your key area, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Provide expert communication at all levels, including management and executive teams, creating decision templates and mediating architectural conflicts effectively.

Your profile

  • Extensive experience in domain/solution architecture within complex enterprise projects and environments.
  • A proven track record in leading and delivering architecturally complex projects, including the design of comprehensive solution architectures.
  • Expertise in developing implementation roadmaps, strategic concepts, and business case analyses.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and support project team members in technical growth and development.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management and relationship building across diverse departments and units.
  • Deep knowledge of IT ecosystems, infrastructure, and application landscapes, and the ability to analyze and document complex systems effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and moderation skills, coupled with the ability to motivate and engage teams to tackle architectural challenges.
  • A solutions-driven, proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results.
  • A degree in applied sciences in business informatics, computer science, economics, mathematics, physics, or a comparable study field.
