Your tasks
- Development and management of a visionary and forward-looking roadmap to elevate Cyber Threat Platforms and realize multilayered Threat Defense solutions that utilize innovative approaches to successfully counter various cyber threats
- Management and driving the development as well as optimization of Detection & Response Platforms, ServiceNow Security Operations Modules, phishing/malware solutions, Recorded Future Threat Intelligence, and modern cloud-native infrastructures
- Prioritization of requirements using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and NIST CSF, as well as conducting comprehensive asset criticality assessments
- Evaluation of cybersecurity solutions for Threat Platforms and leading PoC initiatives to validate innovative technologies and successfully test them prior to global implementation
- Close collaboration with internal teams such as Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Incident Response to optimally adapt tools and strategies to evolving threat scenarios
- Guiding engineering teams to efficiently scale platform integration while promoting automation and scalability through modern DevSecOps principles
- Prioritization and continuous refinement of product and sprint backlogs using agile methodologies to develop well-defined user stories and achieve business-oriented, measurable results
- Technical leadership and support of the Cyber Security Threat Platform team and all initiatives through agile processes such as sprint planning, backlog refinements, sprint reviews, and PI planning to ensure optimal alignment and concrete outcomes
- Development of actionable reporting models to analyze performance metrics and support data-driven decisions to continuously scale platform reliability and performance
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in cybersecurity, computer science, business informatics, or a related mathematical or technical field, including IT-specific training or comparable qualifications
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with several years of successful responsibility in product ownership or leading solutions for Threat Platforms
- In-depth knowledge in the management and development of platforms such as EDR, NDR, ServiceNow SecOps, phishing/malware detection systems, and modern cloud-native infrastructures
- Comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, NIST CSF, as well as Secure Development Lifecycles (SSDLC), to successfully plan and implement security strategies
- Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash, C/C++, JavaScript, and Go, to develop security solutions, automate processes, and integrate platforms efficiently
- Excellent competency in data analytics, including the ability to analyze large datasets and identify threat patterns using tools such as Splunk, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Power BI, or Grafana to create meaningful visualizations and reports
- Expertise in analyzing log and event data to detect security-relevant incidents, monitor network traffic, and uncover anomalies that indicate potential threats
- Knowledge in vendor assessment, leading PoC initiatives, and validating modern solutions before implementation in the enterprise environment
- Advanced knowledge in DevSecOps practices as well as seamlessly integrating solutions into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills, communication capabilities, and expertise in stakeholder management to optimally align technical solutions with the organization's strategic goals
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, PMP, Security+, or modern cloud security certificates (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), which are valuable assets
- Fluent language skills in German and English (both spoken and written) to work effectively and flexibly in a global, multilingual team
