We are seeking a Java developer with at least 3 years of proffesional experience and good understanding of Automic Automation / UC4 to join our IT team in Prague.
You will design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and job schedules using Java and Automic Automation / UC4, ensuring efficient and reliable process execution across SAP environments. 

Your tasks

  • Design, implement and optimize Java code as the primary development task, ensuring scalability, maintainability and performance
  • Contribute to the overall UC4 job scheduling landscape by applying Automic Automation (UC4) as well as scripting technologies (Automic Script, Unix Shell, Perl, Windows Batch) where required
  • Drive the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis, technical design and coding through to testing and deployment
  • Provide support to the operations team in analyzing and troubleshooting automation issues across Unix, SAP and Automic environments
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient automation solutions

Your profile

  • Completed studies, ideally in the field of (business) informatics or comparable qualification
  • Sound knowledge and experience with test design and implementation
  • Experience with scripting
  • Ability to learn new technologies, including additional scripting and Job scheduling frameworks
  • Experience with Automic software (formerly UC4) or willingness to learn it
  • Sound knowledge and experience in MsAccess, VBA programming and JAVA programming
  • Working experience with SAP is an advantage
