Welcome to the team: Technical Business Analyst – Message Queueing (m/f/diverse)

Your tasks
- Eliciting, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for MQ workflows and solutions;
- Collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance guidelines;
- Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to define and understand MQ architecture and solutions;
- Assisting in the design, configuration, and testing of MQ solutions following industry standards and security best practices;
- Taking part in defining strategies for migrating legacy MQ infrastructure to modern infrastructure systems (e.g. API, Kafka);
- Developing and maintaining clear documentation, including business process workflows, technical specifications, and user guides;
- Working with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
Your profile
- Experience in understanding, analyzing, gathering business requirements and designing functional solution;
- Ability to understand and advise business as well as IT regarding the best technical / functional solution or set-up of the application;
- Knowledge about message queueing technology is a plus;
- Understanding of IT concepts, most preferable some experience in API and/or Kafka;
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking as well as structured and methodical work;
- Fluency in English;
- University degree in IT or relevant.

The Business Connectivity cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs, Kafka technology, MQ service, MFT that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure, positioning Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative customer solutions. We built up a team for providing Message Queueing (technology for messaging between applications) as a platform in the bank. This enables us to facilitate use cases of secure data transfer and increase the bank’s capability.
