Your tasks
- Ensuring a stable, state-of-the-art technology base for Big Data, AI, and Business Intelligence by leveraging both cloud solutions and on-premise systems.
- Serving as a central point for data and analytics, efficiently incorporating key data sources for providing a unified repository.
- Offering specialized data warehouses and sandboxes for various segments and functions, managing critical data sources such as Credit Risk, Retail Marketing Data, ESG Data, and Current Account Transaction Data.
- Establishing and maintaining high data quality standards and rigorous metadata management practices.
- Developing the next iteration of Commerzbank’s data layer, enabling self-service data product development and deployment using cloud-native solutions.
- Building the next-generation AI platform for Commerzbank, alongside our data initiatives,
Your profile
- Conduct operational monitoring of cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate daily on cloud projects predominantly in GCP, providing hands-on support and guidance.
- Monitor cloud environments and assist clients in setting up new projects and services.
- Streamline deployment processes using Terraform to enhance efficiency and reduce overhead.
- Train and mentor users on best practices within the cloud infrastructure, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Verify and provide support for Python-based environments, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Participate in the development of platforms focused on Data Science and AI.
- Engage in innovative projects associated with AI platforms and agents, pushing the boundaries of cloud capabilities.
- Ensure the stability, performance tuning, and innovation of applications.
- Coach colleagues and end-users, actively contributing to knowledge sharing and fostering a learning culture.

The Big Data Cluster Team is at the cutting edge of creating the essential infrastructure needed for artificial intelligence at Commerzbank. By enabling data scientists, analysts and developers, the team offers a wide range of data resources, such as data warehouses, data platforms, visualization platforms, and an all-encompassing data science platform—all in a single location.
