Welcome to the team: Test Engineer (Digital Banking Solutions) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Understanding business requirements and identify test scenarios from them;
- Working closely with Product Owner and development team to create test plans,test cases and test data;
- Planning and execution of functional tests (integration, system test and user acceptance tests), as well as regression tests and documentation of the results;
- Defect management - documenting and tracking defects;
- Preparing of requirement traceability matrix;
- Estimating work effort and gathering test requirements from business analysts and developers;
- Participate in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro);
Your profile
- Minimum 4 years of job experience in software quality assurance;
- University degree in computer science and/or related field or equivalent work experience;
- Knowledge and extensive experience in software testing concepts;
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) is desirable. ISTQB Certified Technical Test Analyst (advanced level) or similar qualification is an added advantage;
- Proficiency in concepts related to testing REST API and microservice infrastructuresesting. Experience with REST clients such as Postman is an added advantage;
- Experience working with test tools, such as ALM Octane, UFT and their integration into test automation pipelines with Teamcity is an advantage;
- Experience working with Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure) is an added advantage;
- Good team player and work within a geographically distributed team;
- Good English communication skills - written and spoken. German is an added advantage;
- Experience in Scrum framework and agile work techniques;

As a Test Analyst, you will play major role in the quality assessment and assurance of the applications developed in your team. You will collaborate closely with other Test Analysts, Developers, Business Experts, Architects and DevOps in order to ensure the best functionality and quality for the products owned by your team.
