Welcome to the team: Junior Procurement Specialist (m/f/diverse)

As the Service Hub for our branch network your main task is to support the corporate procurement function of London, New York branch or Continental Europe branches in their operational/ tactical tasks. Your main task will be the support of International Units with the focus on contract documentation, supplier checks and procurement related controls
This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the procurement field. To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent English skills in writing and speaking.
Your tasks
- Conduct procurement activities for all assigned categories within target timescales in accordance with Procurement Guidelines for London Branch, New York or Continental Europe
- Support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and analysis of procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement activities.
- Adhere to and enforce the Bank's procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with internal clients to ensure their needs are met and to maintain a smooth procurement process.
- Manage and assess supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships and ensure consistent supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
Your profile
- Maximal 2 year experience with conducting Procurement activities in accordance with the 7-step strategic sourcing process with the ability to execute the requirements at each phase of the process.
- Excellent communication in English, Czech advantage
- Working in smaller procurement team covering multiple countries
- Ability to quickly understand the operational and functional capabilities of a Procurement process-related technology systems or tool in order to leverage and integrate the tool into the operations for greater efficiency and management visibility
- Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus, capable of working independently and collaboratively with global teams
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus to continuous process improvement
- Reliability, accuracy and time management together with flexibility
