Welcome to the team: Senior Data Engineer (CI/CD CHAMP) (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Defining and operationalizing a medallion data architecture with Microsoft Fabric;
- Implementing and testing Microsoft Fabric items like Azure Synaps Analytics or Azure Data Factory;
- Creating ETL pipelines for data flows;
- Automating data historization and versioning;
- Configuring CI/CD pipelines for notebooks and Fabric artefacts;
- Regularly presenting your findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders;
- Working in an agile team setup and participating in alignment meetings.
Your profile
- Strong analytical skills in the technical design and development of Data & Analytics solutions;
- Experience in setting up and managing data architecture with Microsoft Fabric;
- In-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse architectures;
- Experience using a BI tool, preferably Microsoft Power BI;
- Experience with relational databases and Python;
- Hands-on experience with Spark programming;
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or relevant.

The CI/CD CHAMP cluster is responsible for the development and provision of services in the area of Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Integration. We provide automated deployment environments, customized delivery pipelines, test automation tools and expertise, as well as onboarding services. Our customers and partners are other software development teams within Commerzbank.
