Welcome to the team: Senior Business Operations Manager with German (m/f/diverse)
Your tasks
- Taking ownership of cluster-wide financial steering, budgeting, and cost controlling activities;
- Leading and supporting strategic initiatives in alignment with the Cluster Lead and Product Owners;
- Serving as the key interface for Finance, Procurement, and external vendors;
- Creating and monitoring purchase orders for London, Frankfurt and Sofia teams;
- Supporting Procurement team in contract negotiations;
- Communicating with Finance to reconcile actual costs to expected;
- Identifying and investigating any unexpected costs;
- Onboarding, renewal and offboarding of contractors;
- Providing HR with all required staffing information;
- Ensuring adherence to German employment laws;
- Making sure working time is booked accordingly across different projects/applications;
Your profile
- Prior relevant experience in finance, operations, or strategic project management;
- Strong background in financial planning, cost control, and budget ownership;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Strategic and structured thinker with a proactive and hands-on mindset;
- Experience with SAP Finance (FI) module will be considered as an advantage;
- Comfortable working in complex environments and managing multiple priorities;
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Previous experience in banking or a corporate environment (banking industry) is an advantage;
- Fluency in German – both written and spoken;
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant.
