Your main tasks are:

Being the main representative for all Finance tasks in the branch
To liaise with both external and internal auditors within the audits
Prepare statutory Financial statement
To cooperate with external tax advisors on preparation of yearly CIT return, monthly VAT returns and other returns; communication with local tax authority
To provide accounting related advise and support to the business units through the diagnosis of financial issues and proposal of solutions
Responsible for reporting to Statistical office and Polish National bank
Monitor the changes in regulations
Retained organization and Back up for Lodz branch accounting & AP
Cooperation with local management and other finance departments
Participation in projects / software updates

Which skills are important for us? ????

Work experience: minim. 2 years in similar position in the shared service centrum, financial services or audit of financial institutions
Good command of written and spoken English and Polish
The position is open for experienced accountants who are looking for a new job challenge as well
Ability to be a key contact person for stakeholders (branch management, auditors, advisors etc.)
Capable in usage of MS Office applications; experience with SAP is welcome
Good knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS
Accuracy, reliability, ability to work under time pressure and tight deadlines
Service oriented to key clients, proactive approach to solving tasks
Strong individuality as well as team player
