Become an employee in the Cloud Technology Foundation of Commerzbank AG. Together with the Cloud Foundation teams, you will support Commerzbank's strategic cloud strategy. You will improve cloud usage, support use cases in the cloud and create added value for all stakeholders. Furthermore we provide the foundation for a successful AI and cloud strategy for the company with our platforms and services.
Your tasks
- As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of the cloud platforms (GCP) and the associated services and ensure continuous availability
- In addition, you will act as a technical advisor for developers and cloud users, guiding them in the optimal use of the cloud platform
- You will support our teams in the design, planning and implementation of cloud solutions and services according to the requirements of our internal bank customers
- You will work together with our cloud and security engineers in the development of cloud-native applications and contribute to the development and implementation of technical concepts and the establishment of security practices for future cloud-based use cases
- With your agile mindset, you will contribute to the team and beyond, from ideas and requirements, through conception and development to deployment
Your profile
- Education as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience or a degree in business informatics, computer science or comparable qualification
- Professional experience with public cloud platforms (primarily GCP, Azure, AWS) is required
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code
- Experience and understanding of AI methods and concepts
- Experience with modern CI/CD solutions (e.g. GitLab CI)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, Powershell)
- Conceptual and analytical approach and good coordination and organizational skills
- Fluency in English and German
