Your tasks
As a Bond Originator in Frankfurt you are involved in the coverage of corporate bond issuers out of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Your tasks include the support of the team to cover and advise clients on the issuance of new bond transactions (including senior bonds, hybrid capital and sustainable bonds as well as private placements) and the preparation and execution of respective transactions.
In addition, your tasks are:
- Support the preparation of funding plans to raise external debt (e.g. in the context of acquisitions or for refinancing purposes)
- Monitor and analyse developments and trends in the primary and secondary bond market
- Preparation of regular client updates, analyses and presentations on relevant market developments and potential transactions
- Prepare and execute new bond issues
- Close cooperation with client coverage and other product areas
- Communication of relevant information to individuals or teams
- Identification and implementation of process automation in the origination team
- Compliance with all group and executive area procedures and standards, including, among others, all relevant compliance, risk and finance regulations
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree, with master’s level of studies preferred
- Good understanding of economics and financial mathematics
- Affinity for advisory business, financial markets and debt products
- Strong analytical skills, decisive, entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as team spirit and work ethic
- High ability to take ownership and responsibility of projects, to work on tight deadlines and to take initiative
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, competence in Bloomberg and basic programming skills is a plus
- Business fluent spoken and written English and German, further European language is of advantage
