Junior CBI Relationship Manager - International Corporates (m/f/diverse) (m/f/diverse)

    Your tasks

    • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with both national and international corporate clients, typically smaller (Dutch) subsidiaries of German corporations. Identify and execute value-added business opportunities.
    • Collaborate closely with the Client Service Team, led by the Lead Relationship Manager, who oversees the overall group relationship. Ensure all activities are aligned with the Lead RM`s strategy and support the broader group relationship objectives.
    • Gather, analyze, and manage customer information and contacts, ensuring data quality and accuracy within the bank's IT systems and tools.
    • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business models, including their markets and products. Leverage this knowledge to map client needs to the bank’s product offerings and collaborate with colleagues across product areas to drive revenue and build lasting partnerships.
    • Conduct strategic discussions with clients to generate and increase revenue for the bank. Tailor business plans for each client, considering their needs, business potential, and appropriate risk management.
    • Meet set performance targets (e.g., revenue growth, cross-sell opportunities, client expansion) by:

    a) Proactively monitoring client business activities at all levels to stay informed and provide timely, strategic responses in collaboration with your team.

    b) Regularly reviewing local client relationships, operations, risks, and market conditions to maintain oversight and respond to changes.

    c) Ensuring all client relationships and transactions adhere to Commerzbank's compliance standards and guidelines.

    d) Effectively utilizing the bank’s IT systems to maintain data integrity and quality.

    Your profile

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Corporate Banking.
    • Strong knowledge of the corporate sector and banking products.
    • In-depth understanding of the banking needs of corporate clients in the Netherlands and familiarity with the relevant Dutch regulatory framework.
    • Fluent in German and English, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
    • A collaborative team player who thrives in an international environment.
    • Proficient in MS Office with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
