The Daily Banking Cluster in Commerzbank is building the bank’s online banking application. With over 1 million daily users and over 15 million API calls per day and growing, this is one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe. Utilizing modern technologies such as React, Java-based microservices, Oracle, Kafka, Docker and OpenShift, and together with other teams in Prague who are building the partner mobile app, we are building a next-generation online banking experience.
As a Test Analyst you will be involved in analysing user stories with business analysts to create test scenarios required to confirm correct behaviour. Additionally, you will play a key role in the QA of the team’s delivered functionality by executing those test scenarios and validating new features from the development team.
Given the high-profile of the application, this team has a huge responsibility, making this an intensive, exciting and truly unique opportunity to expand and develop your organizational skills and international experience.
1-year limited contract, with the possibility of contract extension.
Your tasks
- Design test scenarios for new functionality in collaboration with business analysts.
- Execute tests and validate correct functionality of new features.
- Triaging defects and tracking.
- Regression testing and managing suites of test cases by functionality.
- Manage documentation of test cases.
- Be part of an agile team refining and planning user stories with backend developers, Business Experts and UX designers.
- Support incident resolution and bug fixing in production.
Your profile
Technical:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related.
- 2 or more years active professional experience in software development teams involved in testing.
- Experience in test scenario creation.
- Experience in Regression Testing.
- Experience in test documentation.
- Experience with writing and preparing tests for automation is an advantage.
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
Other skills and experience:
- High analytical thinking with attention to details and problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Good team player with high ability to work in international teams.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment.
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken as you will be in daily contact with native and non-native speakers.
