Your tasks
- The Trade Service Specialist (TSS) is responsible for contacting the corporate customer under the documentary or guarantee business and responsible for cultivating and developing the business relationship with relevant customers for processing of documentary or guarantee transactions.
- The TSS is responsible for the smooth process-related workflow and the internal communication between the unit and Trade Processing Centre (TPC) or TPCC Guarantee Business (TPCC GB), depending on which product he is focusing on.
- The TSS ensures that the process-relevant internal and external guidelines and regulatory requirements are being complied with and deals with each task within any given deadlines.
- The main task of the TSS is customer contact in documentary or guarantee business issues. In addition, he is responsible for transaction-related coordination with the TPC or TPCC GB.
- Works on a team-oriented basis in close cooperation with TSS in other locations, the TPC or TPCC Guarantee Business colleagues as well as all relevant local counterparties.
Your profile
- Apprenticeship in banking, or completed University or University of Applied Science study, or proof of other adequate qualification
- Fluency in English and preferably German language
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal and external regulations, guidelines and related workflows in the area of responsibility (including AML, Countering Terrorist Financing, Financial Crime and First Line of Defence Activities)
- At least 2 years of comparable professional experience, trade finance background required
- Practical experience of workflow management would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- General knowledge of the pertinent rules published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) with regards to trade finance business
