Reporting Specialist with German – 1 year contract (m/f/diverse)

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the Financial reporting of one or more Eurohub entities
  • Regulatory and statutory reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly, annually) to the local authorities
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and notes according IFRS and local regulations
  • Application of month-end and year-end adjustments, including local specifics
  • Communication with the auditor, co-ordination of auditor’s requirements
  • Communication with local authorities
  • Perform regular checks and data reconciliations to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy
  • Maintain reporting procedures and perform internal controls as required
  • Participation in projects outside of the standard reporting cycle (predominantly related to changes in the accounting & regulatory reporting environments, changes in the IT systems and infrastructure)

Your profile

  • Work experience with financial reporting - min. 3 years in banking industry or similar
  • Knowledge of IFRS requirements
  • Accuracy, reliability, ability to work under time pressure and tight deadlines
  • Proficient in usage of MS Office applications- Excel, Word
  • Experience with processing of large amount of data, SQL, VBA is an advantage
  • Open mindset ready for changes in regulations and related environment
  • Team player willing to learn and develop on job
  • English and German language on professional level is a must
