MDR+ is a new initiative aiming to simplify our internal processes by creating a central market data repository and workflow engine. MDR+ is a cloud based platform which combines vendor components, custom extensions and integration to existing bank systems and services. From a technical perspective our ambition is to create a fully cloud native platform which will be a cornerstone of Commerzbank’s rapidly evolving cloud platform for investment banking.
You will be working in a fast-changing environment with cutting edge technology. Our team is spread among three locations – Prague, Frankfurt, London, which will require you to travel and meet your colleagues from time to time.

Your tasks
- Performing analysis of business requirements and craft them into user stories
- Implementation and improvements of current Risk and Market data workflows
- Facilitate communication between development team and rest of the bank (Credit trading, Risk, Market data, Compliance)
- Maintain rigorous, good quality documentation of the platform.
- Become a helping hand to business users using our application
- Incident and problem management in your area
- Product Owner deputy – Step in a bigger role from time to time
Your profile
Technical Skills & Experience
- University degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or related fields
- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, their valuation principles, and models (fair value calculations), and basic financial mathematics
- Knowledge of major market data providers (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, MarkIt) and their products
- Market Risk Management, Financial Control or Investment Banking experience is an advantage
- Experience of creating specification for development team
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, include architectural concepts as well as programming languages / development tools and database / application architecture is plusCompletion of any of the CFA/FRM levels or similar certification is an advantage

- Ability to perform sound analysis, present your findings, and defend your conclusions as necessary

- Effective English verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication to suit different audiences.
- Effective facilitation skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions & meetings with various teams in the organization.
- Action orientated. Able to follow up on feedback from the business & relay/develop positive outcomes.
